“I went to a close friends wedding and Darin was their photographer. I have been to many weddings in the past where I have found the photographers to be bossy, take really corny shots, or just generally detract from the whole experience. In my observations with Darin, he wasn’t like that, and his photos were beautiful, natural and fun.
So when Tom and I decided to get married, Darin was an easy choice.
We wanted to keep the shots local to where we live, and especially capture the people and festivities. Family was here from Holland, friends were from all over the place, the wedding was across the road, and the house was a mad-house really. The party was a dress up party – so most of the guests out-did the bride, and we wanted to make sure we captured the whole thing. Darin knew what we wanted from out photos and quietly got to work. He fit in, was great with everybody (especially children) and you hardly noticed that he was there.
