It would be easy to talk about the red dress, the cars, the tattoos, the quiffs.
But what I really took away from Amy & Pete’s wedding day was laughter, and music. Kids being kids. Adults being kids. Everyone having fun.
And the best spit roast I have eaten at a wedding. Everyone should have their receptions at the pub.

so many good images. love the processing and telling of the day. job well done!
Awesome Darin! Such a unique wedding. Love the dress!
Just…wow! I don’t even know where to begin. What incredible images of a clearly awesome couple’s wedding. I love the getting ready shot in front of the mirror so much. I was actually looking around the frame, taking it all in, saying to myself that all the competing elements actually added so much to the image, rather than detracting, when I was like, “Who! Dude drinking orange juice!” Totally didn’t see that at first. :)
So cool.
Damn, I love this wedding! The bride and groom are a perfect fit, the style of the wedding is spot on, the portraits are amazing, and your photojournalism tops it all off. Well done.
I love the unique style of this wedding and you did amazing capturing it.
Wow! Incredible work
Superb compositions and framing, lot of emotions captured. Great work.
You have sooo many good photo journalistic images in this set. The image with the little girl running to the bridal party is a really stellar image though! So well seen and timed.

I know two things about Melbourne’s weather.
It is fickle.
But in April, when it’s perfect – it is perfect.
And Kirsten and Tom deserved every glorious moment.

Gorgeous wedding and your portraits are stunning!
Fantastic work once again mr. Collison!
So soft and dreamy! God you’re good!! What a stunning bride!
Great romantic softness these photos are! Bride has the most beautiful eyes!
She is so beautiful, and part of that is how well her personality comes through even in subtle images. Love it.
Incredible use of light from start to finish.
Love the shots in the vines. Stunning throughout.
That group shot with the vineyards behind is gorgeous. A really lovely looking wedding and great images.
Clean and superb compositions… Great work.
That first shot is AMAZING!
If I had one word to describe your wedding photography, it is “delicate.” I love the delicate touch you display in these photos.
Beautiful wedding! I love the softness of your photos. :)
Great photos! Great use of tones and colours!
Love the composition of the B&W image with the bridal party amongst the vines…. Awesome shadows!
I’m pretty obsessive compulsive about editing. I spend way too long tweaking. Fixing. Adjusting colour, contrast, curves – getting the image to look just how it does in my head.
This shot is SOOC – straight out of camera.
It was an epic sunset tonight.

Indeed, is a great photography, a great framing and colors.
Stunning image Darin!
Long time blog readers will know that my family got bigger a while ago. Quite a while ago.
Almost a year, even.
James turns one in a few days. He has grown into a hell of a handful. A beautiful, scruffy, adorable, gung ho, loving, fun, happy amazing boy.
I just picked him up from childcare. It is a perfect autumn afternoon.
And sometimes, I have to remind myself to take photos of these things just because they are so fleeting. And so beautiful.
