VPPYs are the Victorian Professional Photographer of the Year awards. I entered a couple of prints – all very last minute and rushed, but I made it.
I have never entered prints before, and I had absolutely no idea what to expect.
So I was very chuffed to get a Silver award for the first image, and even more so to get a Silver with Distinction for the second. It’s particularly pleasing because both these images are straight photojournalism, which is kinda what I pride myself on.
